I love Graham Masterton but I should have skipped this one. I hate books about the mob, crime bosses, drug lords, etc and this one has all three. It's just violence for horror's sake. Oh there's a plot but it totally hinges on violence. The action is horrific but predictable. Dan Fisher, the cop seems to get off too easily when everyone else is brutally murdered. Events seem a little to coincidental and pat.I'm giving this three stars instead of 2 because it's not fair to fault the book which I guess is written well but I should have known better than to read it in the first place. Next time I better read the description on the back before purchasing.
