Acorna: The Unicorn Girl - Anne McCaffrey, Margaret Ball I enjoyed this book to a degree though I admit to putting it down once or twice and just not wanting to pick it up again. I liked Acorna herself, though a lot of what she went through wasn't discussed. It basically said she aged very quickly and was now a young woman. Huh? I expected Acorna to be THE story but it wasn't to be. The story itself is rather confusing with lots of sub-plots, lots of bad guys, several groups of child slaves but nothing dangerous ever happens. They just plod along and everything mysteriously eases and all problems just dissolve with lame reasonings. I own most of the series so at some point I might grab the next book but no time soon that is for sure.
