This story combines half-human, half-alien Callie Jordan with alien Prince Rogar. Rogar has been tasked with coming to Earth to find Callie, whose ancestors fled dying Symtaria and settled on Earth. Now settled on a new planet, New Symtaria, they need their citizens back to restore their people's health and vitality. When Rogar finds Callie, she is working at a zoo with dreams of working with the big cats one day. This is a fun romance with little depth making it a quick read. The world building is interesting enough that I will pick up [b:The Falcon Prince|7707507|The Falcon Prince (Princes of Symtaria #2)|Karen Kelley|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1348833736s/7707507.jpg|10419119] and continue the series.
