I enjoyed this series starter but the heroines twin sister, Nicole got on my ever-lovin' nerves...what a bitch! You eventually get to hear both sides of the story and can relate to both their attitudes and misplaced accusations. Even though Claire was more doormat than heroine, I liked her and obvious emotional growth throughout the story. On the other hand, Wyatt Knight was annoying and really nasty to Claire. He's Nicole's best friend and strongly on her side though all things sisterly. Oh and we cannot forget Jesse, the youngest sister who Nicole raised once their mother died. Of course, Jesse has authority issues and your-not-my-mother issues and she's testing Nicole's limits. Even at 22, Jesse needed to have her ass smacked!I liked the ending and can't wait to read the next installment, Nicole's story.
