Would-Be Witch - Kimberly Frost Tammy Jo Trask isn't what you'd call a witch or for that matter, even magical. It seems that the magic gene has skipped her completely. That is until she needs magic to recover her stolen locket (home of her great grandmother's ghost). Then she performs magic with interesting results. One of her family rules is never, never talk to anyone named Lyons. Well she breaks this rule as Bryn Lyons is the only other magical person in town. The results prove to be hilarious.

I absolutely loved Tammy Jo, the redneck witch. The love triangle is interesting - ex-husband Zach, on-again off-again lover and Bryn Lyons, a magical family enemy. This book has it all: humor, betrayal, romance, mystery, vampires, werewolves, witches, ghosts and even the requisite gay hairdresser/friend. A hilarious start to the Southern Witch series. Future installments should be very interesting.
