This book really surprised me. I don't expect to be amazed when I read YA novels. Yeah for the most part they are okay but they have to much angst which tends to get on my nerves. This book didn't have any of that. We have two brothers, Nick and Alan who are especially close, fighting demons and running from magicians. I loved the family angle, the "we stick together" mentality and the wonderful, surprising plot twists. Definitely a series I will be continuing.
