Deeply, Desperately (Lucy Valentine, #2)
There is a lot going on in this second installment in the Lucy Valentine series. Lucy's boyfriend Sean's ex has reentered the picture supposedly with a debilitating illness. Lucy is investigating a two year old missing person case; she is trying to find Leo Epperson's long lost fiance; and there is something wonky with her father. With all this on her plate, it's a wonder Lucy can even function. The close family relationships between the Valentines and their friends is heart-warming and really made this story. I gave this 4 stars because the whole Cara situation got on my nerves. I wish the author had found another way to make her point but what's done is done and this was a fine followup to Truly Madly.
