The Folly of the World - Jesse Bullington This is my first Jesse Bullington novel but it won't be my last! Mr. Bullington defintely has a way with words. This is a unique story that grabs you from the start, kinda loses you in the middle, but gets you back at the end. I really liked whack-a-do Sander Himbrecht as he provided some much needed comic relief. Don't get me wrong, he is a total nutjob just a somewhat funny one. I also liked Jolanda who is a girl who has been kicked around since birth and came out swinging. I even liked Jan (well the Jan in the beginning anyway.) This book is at times disgusting and rather sexually graphic (of the gay variety). I found that a lot of things were left unanswered and since this doesn't appear to be the beginning of a series, I guess I'll never find out why certain things happened. It is left kinda topsy turvy so many a sequel will be forthcoming. I will definitely read it!
