In this installment we finally get some answers but a few more questions as well. This book concentrates more on Nick's high school days and the horrific rumors that are going around and how the students are dealing (or not) with the situation. Once again, Nick's mother Cherise is harassing Nick without even letting him explain. In the Dark Hunter series, Cherise is a nice person, but in this one she's a real bitch to Nick. It will be interesting to see where this is heading and what Adarian will do.
